Current Work

These portraits are an exploration of presence. Beginning with residents and caregivers at a senior living community, the work has gradually expanded to include people whose lives intersect with my own. Rather than illustrating specific narratives, each painting is an invitation to slow down and notice expression, gesture, and the quiet humanity that often goes unseen.

Selected Works

A curated selection of paintings that represent the direction of my figurative practice, united by an interest in observation, presence, and the expressive possibilities of paint.

Abstracts

My abstract work carries forward elements from my figurative paintings: color, gesture, shape, and passages of paint. These works often begin after a figurative painting is complete, exploring what remains once the figure is gone.
